Freight Charges, Shipping, and Handling

Customers will be charged freight on all seeds shipments. Seed orders

over 400 pounds are shipped LTL, FOB,Madison, WI. Seed orders under

400 pounds are shipped vial UPS Ground Service. UPS shipping and

handling charges are applied from the following table and based on the

most convenient package sizes available. For distant zones, additional

UPS shipping may be added.

10 lbs. and under . add $8.00

11–20 lbs. . . . . . .  add $9.00

21–30 lbs. . . . . . . add $11.00

31–40 lbs. . . . . . . add $13.00

41–50 lbs. . . . . . . add $15.00

51–60 lbs. . . . . . . add $17.00

Sales/Use Tax Requirements

State tax laws require us to collect and submit sales/use tax in IL,

MN, and WI. We apologize for this burden and inconvenience, and

urge you to contact your elected representatives with complaints.

IF YOU ARE EXEMPT from sales/use tax in those states, please call for

a resale or farmer’s exemption form to return to Olds Seed

Solutions. The laws of IL, MN, and WI require us either to have this

form on file or to charge you sales tax. This is required by law

whether the order is mailed in and paid by check or called in and

paid by credit card.

IF YOU ARE NOT EXEMPT from sales/use tax, and you live in Illinois,

Minnesota, or Wisconsin, please apply the appropriate sales tax for

your state and locale to the total of the seed purchase plus freight.

Freight is taxable.
