 Mission Making Superior Vegetables a Reality™ Heritage ROGERS® is a brand with a long tradition. Everett and Austin Rogers formed the Rogers Brothers Seed Company at Chaumont, New York in 1876. The company originally specialized in pea production and development. Products Our fresh market crops are beans, broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, melons, peas, peppers, spinach, squash, sweet corn, tomatoes, and watermelons. Processor crops include beans, peas, and sweet corn. We also sell an array of dry beans including pinto and navy beans. Customers ROGERS® brand seed is distributed to the nation's largest commercial fresh market growers, processors, wholesalers, and dry bean growers. Our varieties are also repackaged under various distributors targeting the smaller roadside and home garden customers. Market Area ROGERS® brand is sold in the United States, Canada, Mexico and Central America. Service and Delivery We provide service and delivery through a network of field sales professionals, product advancement representatives and authorized dealerships. ROGERS brand vegetable seeds are sold directly to distributors or processors. Dry beans are sold directly to dealers. Breeding Trials Our breeders conduct thousands of trials each year to learn which varieties best meet customer needs, with many trials actually taking place in customers' fields. Quality Standards At Syngenta, we breed, produce and process our vegetable seed under an extensive quality assurance program that helps ensure the health, germination and purity of our seed. We also document and monitor our processes and procedures according to demanding ISO standards. Together, these steps help ensure that ROGERS' brand products are of the highest quality. |
